[Hong Kong 10th Reuters]–Some bondholders of China’s real estate developer, Evergrande Group of China, have not received interest payments at the end of their 30-day grace period in Asia on the 10th. Two officials have revealed.
The company has never defaulted on offshore bonds. The grace period for interest payments of more than $ 148 million for each corporate bond redeemed in April 2022, 2023 and 2024 will expire on the 10th.
Evergrande comments have not been obtained.
