A horrific story has been told of a British woman who suffered from paralysis after smoking an e-cigarette handed to her by a stranger at a club.

On the 29th of last month, British media Mirror reported that Emma Sugre Lawrence, 43, a mother of three, visited a club in Wolverhampton on the 21st and was threatened with life at the club.

According to reports, Emma was visiting a club with a friend and drinking. Then a man approached me and offered to buy me a drink. But Emma politely declined, stating that “there was no alcohol to my liking.”

Later, Emma ran into the man again in the club’s smoking area. This time, the man suggested that he try a ‘unicorn-flavored’ disposable e-cigarette instead of alcohol.

Believing that she wouldn’t do anything to harm her, Emma took a sip or two of the e-cigarette the man had handed her. Then, ten minutes later, Emma suddenly felt dizzy and sweated to the point that her clothes were drenched.

Starting with my legs, my body started to feel weak, and with the help of a friend, I barely came out of the club. After five more minutes, he became paralyzed, unable to speak. Emma, who was taken to the hospital after midnight, was able to be discharged after about 16 hours as her paralysis symptoms subsided. After two days, I was able to move my body as before.

“When I opened my eyes, I woke up in the hospital,” Emma said. “It was the most terrible thing I’ve ever experienced.” He continued, “I didn’t know this would happen to me,” he said.

Lawrence said of the man in question: “He had a well-groomed beard and was wearing a striped shirt.” When he posted this experience on his Facebook, he received contact from several men and women saying, “I went through a similar thing with the same person on the same day.”

“I was shocked by this,” Lawrence said.
