In Saudi Arabia, Kovid has started giving the third dose of the vaccine

Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Health has announced that the third dose of the Kovid vaccine has been given to those in need of special care. So far 4,15,72,744 doses of vaccine have been distributed in the country. Of these, 2,32,50,980 were the first dose and 1,83,21,764 were the second dose. The Ministry of Health said it was working to extend the third dose of vaccine to more groups in the coming days.

As part of this, a second dose of the vaccine will be given to those over 60 months of age who have taken the second dose. An announcement will be made soon. Currently, the third dose of the vaccine is being given to kidney patients and transplant recipients. The ministry has released a list of provinces that have received the second highest dose of the vaccine. Al Bahah province tops the list with 67 percent receiving the second dose. Riyadh 66.1, Eastern Province 65.5, Makkah 58.4, Azir 56.1, Qasim 55.5, Jizan – Tabuk 53.7, Hail 51, Madinah 50.7, Northern Border Region 50.5 and Najran – Al Jawf 48.9.
