Kymco (Gwangyang) adopted a relatively unconventional strategy for this year’s car models. First, they were fully exposed in mid-March, and then they went on the market one by one. Following S7R, S7 and i-One, S6 finally debuted today, completing the listing of the entire product line. Among the four models, the i-One with only one battery and 4.2kW motor is the cheapest, but the S6 with a 6.5kW motor and two Ionex batteries is the main force.

The S6 has a maximum speed of 88km/h and a battery life of 155km. It has a low seat height of 750mm, front and rear disc brakes, LED color instrumentation, labor-saving parking stand, 5V/2A USB port and other designs. S6 has launched a total of three colors of streamer powder, polar white and modern gray, and has two models of charging version and replacement version, priced at NT$82,800.

But pricing is one thing. In order to promote sales, Kymco can offer a number of special offers. The previous i-One (above picture), S7 and S7R (below picture) enjoy car purchases of NT$3,800, NT5,000 and NT$6,000 respectively, while the S6 came to NT$6,600. If it is purchased in Shuangbei, if all the subsidies and gold car purchases are added up, the price of the car can be as low as NT$48,900. Not only that, in terms of the original accessories, it is also the most generous with the S6. It also presents a helmet, a mobile phone holder and a rear armrest cushion, which is more than a mobile phone holder for the S7/S7R/i-One.

The “Honorable Power Exchange” service announced in August seems to be well received. In addition to the addition of the Nanhu District, Wenshan District, and Beitun District of Taichung in Taipei City, the scope of application has been expanded to 39 administrative districts in Liudu. The free battery replacement service that was originally scheduled until the end of the year will be extended to the first quarter of 2022. As for the replacement of power stations, the current construction has exceeded 800 stations, of which 709 stations have been opened, continuing to move towards the target of 1,000 stations this year.
