Aston Martin’s Next-Generation Sports‌ Car Portfolio is Now Complete

Aston Martin has unveiled‍ the Vanquish, a new V12 flagship sports car that redefines driving dynamics for a new generation ​of⁤ drivers. The grand⁤ premiere‍ was ​held at‍ the Marina Militaire in⁤ Venice, Italy, ⁣under the stars at the Venice‌ Film Festival.

A Night to‍ Remember in Venice

The event brought together Aston Martin’s most⁤ respected friends from the worlds of film, art, fashion, ⁤and business. Guests were treated to musical performances by Grammy-nominated‌ musician Masego, award-winning⁤ Italian jazz musician ⁢Walter ⁢Rich,​ and international​ DJ​ James Righton.

Stars from the film world,⁣ including five Oscar-winning actors,⁤ were‍ in⁤ attendance.​ George Clooney,​ accompanied by his⁣ wife Amal, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael ‍Douglas, Kevin Costner, and ​Adrien Brody, were ‍among the guests. The⁣ unveiling took place at the Arsenale di Venezia, a historic ​crossroads ⁤of manufacturing, culture, and the arts⁤ that dates back⁢ to⁣ 1104. The Arsenale was home to up to 2,000 ​people daily during the Middle Ages, hand-building⁣ ships ​for the‌ Venetian fleet known as La Serenissima (The Serene One).

A Work of‌ Automotive Art

Vanquish marks the end⁣ of the most intensive period of new model development in Aston Martin’s 111-year history and completes the brand’s ​portfolio ⁢of next-generation front-engine sports cars. Its debut follows ‍the unveiling⁣ of the DB12 at⁢ the USAF AIDS Research Gala ‌at the Cannes Film Festival⁤ in May 2023, and⁢ the Vantage, which was revealed at the home of British motorsport, Silverstone, in⁤ February ⁢2024.

A‍ Growing Connection⁢ Between​ Road and Track

Unveiled by ⁤Aston Martin ‌Aramco ⁢Formula 1​ Team drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, the Vanquish’s arrival signals Aston⁣ Martin’s growing ‌connection between road and track and the brand’s ambition⁤ to ⁤be a leader in high performance.

A‍ Limited-Edition‌ Model

The limited-edition ​Vanquish is Aston Martin’s highest-performance ⁢sports car ‌and is also one⁣ of the most ⁤exclusive‍ models, with production limited to 1,000 units per‍ year. ⁣A ​unique⁤ member of the portfolio,‌ Vanquish is the⁣ only car powered by Aston Martin’s bespoke 12-cylinder engine.

A Legacy of Performance

This is the ‌third ⁢generation of Aston Martin’s well-known ⁢Vanquish model,‍ making its return for the first time since 2018. The ⁣original‌ V12-equipped model,⁢ released in 2001, was‍ driven by James Bond in ‍”Die Another Day” (released in 2002) and appeared in 2000s films such ‌as “Tomb Raider” and “The⁣ Italian Job”, making a​ name⁣ for⁢ itself on the silver screen.
