Leaked Photos Reveal Google’s Pixel 8 Pro: New Design and Improved Features

Leaked Images Reveal Google’s Highly Anticipated ‘Pixel 8 Pro’ Smartphone

Fresh images of Google’s upcoming flagship phone, the ‘Pixel 8 Pro’, have surfaced, creating a buzz among tech enthusiasts. The leaked photo, believed to have originated from Vietnam, showcases the matte black variant of the device. Notably, the rear triple camera module has undergone a significant redesign, catching the attention of industry insiders.

One of the major highlights of the new design is the matte back, which not only offers a non-slippery texture, mitigating the risk of accidental drops but also reduces the visibility of fingerprint marks, unlike its glossy counterpart. While it remains unclear whether Google plans to extend the matte finish to other color variants, the matte black option is undoubtedly a welcome addition.

Reports suggest that the Pixel 8 Pro will boast an OLED display with a remarkable 1 to 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. Powering the device will be the highly awaited Tensor G3 chipset, promising to deliver lightning-fast performance. On the photography front, users can expect an impressive triple camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP 5x zoom telephoto lens.

Actual pictures of Google’s next generation smartphone ‘Pixel 8 Pro’ have been leaked.

A leaked photo from Vietnam shows the back of the Pixel 8 Pro wearing a matte black color. As already known, the design of the rear triple camera has been changed.

The matte back is non-slippery, so there’s less risk of dropping it, and it leaves fewer fingerprint marks than the glossy one. It is not yet known whether matte will be applied to colors other than black.

According to the report, the Pixel 8 Pro features an OLED display that supports a 1~120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Tensor G3 chipset. The rear has a triple camera consisting of a 50MP main camera + a 48MP ultra-wide angle camera + a 48MP 5x zoom telephoto camera.

Google plans to hold a ‘Made by Google’ event on the 4th of next month and officially announce the Pixel 8 series. The base model will start at $699, an increase of $100, but the Pro model will reportedly start at $899, the same as last year.
