Miller Harris Stories Collection: Two New Fragrances Inspired by Literary Classics
Fragrances evoke stories for the wearer and those around them. Two new scents, Staccato and Minia, will be added to the Miller Harris Stories Collection in Fall 2024, inspired by famous literary works set in New York and the Isle of Skye in the Scottish Hebrides.
Staccato: A Fragrance Inspired by Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence
Staccato, created by perfumer Carine Vinchon Spener, expresses the conflict between good sense and desire. The delicate rose scent of Jack Minnow and dried rose is complemented by sweet honey and pungent ginger for an enchanting scent.

Inspired by the loneliness and personal struggles depicted in Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse, perfumer Emily Bouget sought to create a scent that evokes the frosty, dark nights depicted in the novel.
