Activision Blizzard Reveals Exciting Updates for Call of Duty Series

Leading up to the release of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” on November 10th, the development team shared details about various modes and titles. Aside from revealing information about multiplayer mode and zombie mode, there were also significant announcements regarding “Call of Duty: Warzone” and the upcoming mobile version, “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile”.

Modern Warfare III Multiplayer Mode: A Thrilling Experience

The event kicked off with developers from Sledgehammer Games, Greg Reisdorf, Adam Iscove, and Kim Weigend, taking the stage to introduce the multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare III. They discussed new maps, modes, and features that will elevate the gaming experience. During the event, gameplay focused on maps like Favela, Estate, Skid Row, Last, and Highrise. These maps, faithfully recreated from the original Modern Warfare 2, will receive modernized upgrades.

Notably, five of these maps will be available in the multiplayer open beta starting from October 7th. As previously announced, players can look forward to the inclusion of Grand War and Warmaps at launch, with over 12 new 6v6 core maps being added throughout the post-launch season.

Zombie Modern Warfare Mode: A Fusion of the Best

For the first time in Call of Duty history, Treyarch special guests Kevin Drew and Miles Leslie announced that the beloved Zombies game mode will be fully integrated into the Modern Warfare world. In this open world PvE mode, players will work together in teams to fight off hordes of undead and face various other challenges.

Designed to be accessible for newcomers while still offering plenty of exciting elements for core zombie fans, this mode introduces an enhanced density of zombie enemies. Players will not only battle the undead but also take on mercenaries from the private military company Terminus Result, hired by the main antagonist Viktor Zakhaev. Prepare to confront one of the largest zombie creatures ever seen in the series!

Call of Duty: Warzone Raven: Discover the Next Chapter

Ted Timmins, Senior Creative Director at Raven Software, joined the event to discuss the next chapter of Call of Duty: Warzone. Players will now find themselves in Urzikstan, a new expansive map where the Middle East and Eastern Europe connect. With 11 major landmarks, alongside numerous smaller areas, Urzikstan offers an immersive experience. Get ready to explore locations like Levin Resort, The Power of Popov, City of Zaravan, Shaheenmana, Lowtown, Orlov Military Base, Hadika Farm, Suburb of Zaravan, Old Town, Port Area, and Urzik Tank Cargo.

This new map also serves as the primary setting for the Zombie mode, providing a cumulative experience for fans across different game modes.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile: Go Mobile, Go Rebirth Island

To celebrate the overwhelming response of over 45 million fans who pre-registered for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Activision Blizzard announced that alongside Verdansk, Rebirth Island will be available on mobile from day one of launch. The mobile version is set to release in spring 2024, and pre-registration is currently open.

■Zombie Modern Warfare mode

Treyarch special guests Kevin Drew and Miles Leslie joined the Call of Duty: Next presenters to reveal the third game mode of Modern Warfare III: Zombies . For the first time in the history of the series, the popular Zombies game mode will be fully integrated into the Modern Warfare world.

Teams of players work together in open world PvE, featuring multiple squads that can work together (or go their own way) as they take on multiple threats and hordes of shambling undead.

Zombie mode this time has an environment that is easy to play even for new players trying it for the first time. And, of course, there are plenty of elements that even core zombie fans can enjoy.

The density of zombie enemies has increased significantly, and you will not only fight against the undead. Fight against mercenaries from the private military company Terminus Result hired by the main antagonist, Viktor Zakhaev, and face off against a variety of undead and otherworldly creatures, one of the biggest zombie creatures ever to appear in this way .
