Muscat: The chapter level finals of Malayalam Mission Oman Sugatanjali will be held on Friday. The children who have won first, second and third place in the regional competitions will take part in the finals. Competitions will start at 10 am at Talent Space Hall in Ruwi CBD.
Sugathanjali is a poetry competition organized by the Malayalam Mission every year in memory of teacher Sugathakumari, who was a beloved poet and a member of the governing body of the Malayalam Mission. Vailoppilly Sreedharamenon’s poems were included in the Sugathanjali this year.
Children from Malayalam Mission chapters around the world can participate in the program. The children who get the first three places from each episode will take part in the mega final competition held in the country.
About 40 children who competed in the sub-junior and junior categories in regional competitions under the jurisdiction of Malayalam Mission Oman will participate in the finals, the committee informed.
