Trolley processes billions in payments annually for more than 5 million payees across 210 countries. Its infrastructure aims to simplify global royalty payments,ensuring accurate and timely payouts to rights holders.
Through this integration, OpenPlay will use Trolley as its financial compliance royalty payments provider, enabling secure transactions. OpenPlay Reach clients will also gain access to features such as tax form management, risk mitigation, and fraud prevention.
Both companies emphasize their commitment to supporting the music ecosystem, especially the independent sector. They aim to reduce intermediaries in the royalty process, providing access to payout tools and promoting financial transparency for distributors, labels, and artists.
