Performing Eid al-Fitr prayers in the regions and the rain brings joy to the people of Riyadh

This morning, Muslims performed the blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer in various parts of the Kingdom after God granted them the blessing of fasting and observing the blessed month of Ramadan. Worshipers flocked from the early morning hours to the Eid prayer halls and mosques that were prepared for the Eid prayer in all of the Kingdom’s cities, governorates, centers and villages.

Meanwhile, parts of the city of Riyadh witnessed rain during and after the performance of Eid prayers, especially in the east of the capital, where many neighborhoods witnessed heavy rain.

The branches of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs had finished preparing the chapels and mosques to perform Eid prayers, and their maintenance was undertaken, and the cleanliness of the chapels and their facilities was ensured, which contributed to providing an atmosphere of tranquility, reassurance and spirituality for the worshipers.

Eid prayer in the Grand Mosque

The blessed Eid al-Fitr prayer was performed in the Grand Mosque in an atmosphere of spirituality and faith, where the worshipers were led by the advisor to the Royal Court, the imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, who praised God Almighty and advised Muslims to fear God Almighty.

He said: “Friendliness between brothers is a blessing, and communication between them is a mercy. A blessing is increased by gratitude, affliction is alleviated by patience, and sin is erased by seeking forgiveness. And your Eid is blessed. May God reward you with the happiness of its new moon, bestow upon you the blessing of its perfection, increase you of His grace and blessings, grant you success in its obligatory and supererogatory duties, and His righteous deeds. Your Eid is filled with acceptance, realization of what is responsible, and achieving what is hoped for. May God accept your fasting, and with great reward is your resurrection. Eid Mubarak to our rulers, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince. Eid Mubarak to our people, our country, and all Muslims. Eid Mubarak to the sectarians, those who perform prayers, those who devote themselves to it, the visitors, and all those who go to the Two Holy Mosques. The two honorable ones.

His Eminence added that the images of good deeds from these countries are coming one after the other, and the types of virtues are competing and rising, at every moment, and in every facility, care, service, attention, diligence, diligence, dedication and mastery, so the target is the people who go to the Two Holy Mosques, serving them, and facilitating their affairs, in their arrival and travel, This blessed country and its righteous leadership are enjoying a generous race in the fields of goodness. It is a generous and blessed country. God has blessed it with security, faith, and decent living. It feeds the hungry, provides relief to the afflicted, shelters the refugee, and wipes the head of the orphan. As for the guests of the Most Merciful, serving them is an honor, and facilitating their rituals is a goal. And making sacrifices for them is a sacrifice.

He pointed out that it is a noble occasion for purifying hearts, reconciling souls, endearing oneself to brothers, and increasing ties in kinship. You have in your hands a great character, an art of dealing that only the patient can master, and sublime etiquette that only the virtuous of people and honorable people can master, a character of the finest. It is a characteristic of people of determination. It preserves dignity, bestows awe, and raises status. It is the creation of high status, and it is the creation of neglect and tolerance.

Dr. Bin Humaid explained that ignoring is the best and best way to deal with people if they do something that angers them, or something bad starts happening to them, explaining that ignoring is abandoning what does not concern, being careful about what is beneficial, and enduring small harm in order to ward off major harm, which is turning away from what is harmful. It is not recommended to speak, act, or behave, to turn a blind eye to mistakes, or to look down upon minor things.

It was mentioned that the noble negligent person deliberately ignores the mistakes and faults that he sees, and he is aware of them and is aware of them, but he overlooks them out of generosity, exaltation, virtue, and nobility. The tolerant person has a strong will and a refined soul, appreciates human feelings and controls thoughts, maintains modesty, is guided by wisdom, and governed by reason. He is not driven by desire, nor is he overcome by desire.

He explained that part of maintaining ties of kinship is spreading neglect, and among the foundations of stability in homes is neglect, and part of treating people with kindness is neglect, and a person with ties of kinship does not search for his kinship, for searching is division, and whoever adheres to God will not go astray, and whoever cherishes Him will not be humiliated, and what is beautiful is what was said about your bad character. Your gaze falls on the bad behavior of others, and whoever holds the reins of negligence holds the reins of chivalry, and the virtuous is only the intelligent one who is negligent.

The imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque stated that Eid is a great occasion for greater cohesion and harmony: Spread peace, exchange congratulations, reconcile, tolerate, ignore, and seek the joy of Eid in the pleasure of your Lord, abstaining from your sins, and increasing your good deeds, and know that one of the manifestations of benevolence after Ramadan is its continuity. The servant is obedient and follows a good deed with a good deed. Your Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, enjoined you to follow Ramadan with six days of Shawwal. Whoever does that, it is as if he fasted for an entire lifetime.
