Poovar Lahari Party: Excise says probe into capital model, transaction of Rs 5 lakh

Thiruvananthapuram: Excise has found that a liquor deal worth over Rs 5 lakh was transacted at the Poovar liquor party. The money was handed over online by drug addicts. Further investigation will focus on the model in Thiruvananthapuram.

More information has come out regarding the drunken party. It is learned that 17 drunken parties were held at the Karakkad resort during the last six months. Everything was overseen by Akshay Mohan. The party planned to hold a drunken party yesterday and today when the raid took place. Asianet News received footage of the drunken party on Saturday. The drugs were imported from Goa, Maharashtra and Bengaluru. Excise raids are being carried out on the houses of the detainees.

Convicted in Akshay Mohan drug case

Aryanad native Akshay Mohan, the main accused in the case and the DJ organizer, has been jailed for drug dealing. Akshay was arrested by the Cantonment police and sentenced to 22 days in jail. Akshay DJ has organized Nirvana Music Fest parties inside and outside Kerala.

Three accused in a drunken party case at Poovar resort may be remanded today. The main accused are Akshay Mohan, Ashkar and Petershan, the organizers of the party. According to them, the drugs were brought from Bangalore.

Nineteen people, including the main accused, were taken into excise custody. A woman from Indore was also taken into excise custody. Excise officials, however, said that all but three would be released on bail as they had come to attend the party.

The party was using drugs and hashish oil, including MDMA, at the Karakkad resort in Poovar. The excise team conducted the raid following a tip-off.

The Nirvana Music Fest was organized on social media through WhatsApp and Instagram. The group gathered at 6 pm yesterday and held a DJ party till 9 pm. This was followed by a rave party using the deadly drugs MDMA, LSD and hashish oil. The party, which was attended by girls, lasted till this morning.

It costs a thousand rupees per person to attend a party. Alcohol and alcohol should be paid for separately. Two people from Bobe came to attend the party. Akshay Mohan, Peter Shan and Akash were the organizers. A 20-member team, including a woman excise officer, surrounded the resort around noon following the tip-off. The excise move was unmistakable, as were the tourists who arrived by boat. When the officers arrived, the intoxication was rampant in every cottage.

Excise officials evacuated 17 people by boat in the evening from the resort, including a girl who was taken into custody. The search was intensified for others who attended the party. The resort is named after Sanjit, a native of Uchhakada. Peter, Albin and Rajesh now run the resort for rent.
