Before the so-called ‘Samgyeopsal Day’ on March 3, the pork belly reduction event will start soon.

Pork belly, more than half of which is covered in white.
There is also a ‘big lump of meat’, which is not often seen as red meat.
Last year, when I opened the promotional products bought on Pork Belly Day, I got many complaints that all I got was ‘this big lump of meat’.
The Pork Belly Day discount event starts tomorrow, but I’m worried I’m going to get ripped off by bigots again.

“When I buy pork belly these days, there are a lot of parts with a lot of fat, so I tend to avoid those parts when I buy them.”
Given this lack of consumer trust, the industry has been packaging pork belly as you can see the side cut starting this year.
It roughly shows how many scaffolds there are.
AI technology has even been used to determine lack of quantification.
In the stage of sorting pork belly, a machine with artificial intelligence filters out parts with a lot of fat.

“As you can see, if the fat percentage in a pork belly is excessive, AI selects it so that it is not sold to customers.”
Last year, the government established guidelines to keep the fat layer within 1cm for pork belly and 1.5cm for ogyeopsal before sale.
Lotte Mart, E-Mart, and SSG.COM are holding a pork belly discount event of up to 50% to celebrate Samgyeopsal Day.
Distributors have decided to provide exchanges or refunds at the request of consumers if pork belly is sold with excess fat.
