Red Dead Redemption Physical Edition Coming to PS5

Rockstar Games is releasing a physical edition of the original Red Dead Redemption for the PlayStation 5 on May 7, 2026. The upcoming disc version will feature graphical upgrades to the title.

The release was identified through a listing on the Spanish retail site Wakkap, which was first highlighted by Portal Viciados. The physical edition is priced at €32.90, which is approximately just under $40.

This physical launch follows a digital performance and graphical overhaul provided to Red Dead Redemption owners in 2025. While the game had previously been available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, this version provides a dedicated physical format for the PlayStation 5 hardware.

Retail and Distribution Details

The PlayStation 5 physical disc is the only format currently being advertised via the Wakkap listing. However, other formats may be announced at a later date.

At the time the listing surfaced, other major online retailers had not yet begun advertising the May 7, 2026, launch date.
