Kuwana City and LX DESIGN Collaborate to Foster Momentum for Co-Creation with Startups
In recent years, the government and local governments have been actively creating, nurturing, and collaborating with startups, using the innovative ideas and technologies of startups to try to approach problems that could not be solved until now and to create new value. In January 2024, Kuwana City also held the “Kuwana Startup Summit Kaikoku” event to foster momentum for co-creation with startups, where LX DESIGN CEO Kanaya made a pitch. After that, in March 2024, the “Kuwana Startup Open Field Strategy” was formulated, and full-scale efforts for co-creation with startups began.
We offer a variety of services to comprehensively resolve various issues in the field of education, including our external human resource utilization service “Fukugyo Sensei®︎,” which is specialized for the field of education.
With this agreement, Kuwana City and our company will not only work to reform teachers’ working styles by utilizing external talent, but also work toward co-creation with startups and beyond that, fostering entrepreneurship throughout the region.
Kuwana Startup Open Field Strategy
(1) Reform of teacher working practices and teacher shortages
(2) Utilizing external human resources to provide education that meets the diverse needs of each child and student, and to ensure that no one is left behind in order to survive in the future
(3) Improving 21st century skills, generic skills, and non-cognitive skills by utilizing data on children and students using AI and ICT environments
(4) Any other business that both parties agree upon and deem necessary.
This is an external human resource utilization service that allows schools to request lessons from a variety of private sector personnel who want to be involved in education. It aims to create an “educational curriculum open to society” that allows students to deepen their learning while connecting with society by easily utilizing the knowledge and networks of private sector personnel in areas that are difficult for teachers to handle alone, such as career education, inquiry-based learning, comprehensive learning, programming, global education, IT, entrepreneurial education, financial education, and sex education. After the signing ceremony, we will invite Mr. Hirotaka Sahashi, President and CEO of STATION Ai Inc., who is originally from Kuwana City, to hold a talk event with Mayor Ito of Kuwana City and Satoshi Kanaya, President and CEO of LX DESIGN, on the theme of “What is the open co-creation of Kuwana realized with startups?”. The three will talk from their perspectives on the changes that will occur by incorporating external human resources into local school education, the possibility of startups revitalizing the region toward the realization of the ”Kuwana Startup Open Field,” the possibility of startups revitalizing the region, and the state of entrepreneurship in the entire region.
