According to foreign media outlet Sam Mobile, Samsung Electronics has announced a postponement of the third beta update for One UI 6.0, based on Android 14 for its flagship Galaxy S22 series. This delay comes as Samsung continues its beta program for the highly-anticipated One UI 6.0 update.
A Pause in the Beta Program
The South Korean tech giant commenced the One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S22 series in September of last year. After the release of the second beta update just two weeks ago, the company was expected to roll out the third update soon.
However, an official from the Samsung community revealed that the development of the third beta update for the Galaxy S22 series has faced unexpected delays, disrupting the original schedule. Despite this setback, it is speculated that the postponement allows Samsung to address and resolve any additional bugs discovered in the second beta update.
Progress on Other Devices
Meanwhile, advancements in the beta program for the Galaxy S23 series have nearly concluded, with an official update on the horizon. However, development and testing for other flagship devices like the Galaxy S22 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5, are still in their preliminary stages.
