SF9’s Taeyang Yoo Shares Behind-the-Scenes Footage of ‘Hug Me’ Music Video

Following the release of his first solo digital single, SF9’s Taeyang Yoo has given fans a glimpse into the making of his music video for ‘Hug Me’.

The behind-the-scenes video, released by FNC Entertainment on November 1, showcases Taeyang Yoo’s captivating visuals and emotional acting skills. The video highlights the singer’s ability to immerse himself in the scene and deliver a high-quality performance under the director’s guidance.

Taeyang Yoo opened up about the inspiration behind ‘Hug Me’, stating, “It was a song that I first performed live, but I wanted to present it with better sound quality, so I prepared the audio and video together.” He continued, ” ‘Hug Me’ is a song that tells my story. It’s a song that expresses my true feelings when I face difficulties in the process of achieving something, and the lyrics contain the story I want to tell myself.”

Taeyang Yoo also shared his favorite lyrics from the song, saying, “Among the lyrics, I like the line ‘It’s a dream shining inside me’ the most.” He added, “As the title suggests, I wanted to say that I hope someone who is going through a hard time can give a warm hug and give them strength. I ask for your love and interest, and I hope my feelings are conveyed to you all.”

Currently, Taeyang Yoo is set to perform in the musical ‘Bloody Love’ as Dimitru, with performances starting on December 7 at the KEPCO Arts Center.
