Jeon Jin-woo, under the name of ‘Jeon Se-jin’, has been in the spotlight since his days at Maetan High School, a Suwon youth team, and was often called to the national team by age. After being selected for the U-17 national team in 2016, he was called to the U-20 national team the following year. After the 2018 AFC (Asian Football Federation) U-19 Championship, he was active as a runner-up member of the 2019 FIFA (International Football Federation) U-20 World Cup.

Jinwoo Jeon debuted in K-League 1 in 2018, scoring 2 goals in 12 matches, and gradually appeared on the professional stage. In the 2019 season, he played 20 matches for Suwon, but failed to score and enlisted in Sangmu in the 2020 season. Returning to Suwon after being discharged from the army in the summer of 2021, he played eight games, but failed to record an attacking point.
