Taiwan’s MediaTek will announce its flagship Dimensity 9300+ chipset on Tuesday, May 7.
Compared to the original Dimensity 9300, the Dimensity 9300+ chipset features a premium Cortex-X4 core clock overclocked from 3.25 GHz to 3.4 GHz, providing higher CPU performance. The remaining seven core clocks are the same.
Notably, the Dimensity 9300+ chipset showed an advantage over the competing third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset in previously leaked benchmarks. In the Antutu benchmark, it scored 2,305,607 points, about 200,000 points higher than the third-generation Snapdragon 8, and in Geekbench it scored 2,313 and 7,743 points in single and multi-core respectively.
The Dimensity 9300+ chipset will be installed for the first time in the ‘Vivo X100s’, which will be released soon by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo.
