Thai Women’s Volleyball Team Set to Play Opening Match Against Australia in 2023 PPTV Asian Championship

The highly anticipated 22nd Asian Women’s Volleyball Competition, known as “Escola”, is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 6, 2023 at the prestigious National Stadium Hall and MCC Hall, The Mall Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima. Organizers have confirmed that the event’s program has been successfully finalized.

This year’s Asian Championship marks a significant milestone as it returns to Nakhon Ratchasima Province after a decade-long hiatus since 2013. Notably, the Thai national team emerged victorious in that edition, securing their second Asian Championship title.

A total of 14 teams are set to participate in the 2023 Asian Championships. These teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of 3 or 4 teams. The competition will follow an all-round meet format, with each group vying for the top two ranks to proceed to the next stage.
