First Look: Kelce & Mahomes’ Kansas City Steakhouse
Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are putting the finishing touches on their highly anticipated steakhouse,1587 Prime. The restaurant, a collaboration with Miami-based Noble 33 hospitality group, is located inside the Loews Hotel in downtown Kansas City.
A recent social media post offered a sneak peek inside and outside the ritzy eatery. The post, shared on Travis and Jason Kelce’s joint account, featured photos and videos of the construction site.One image showcased footballs inscribed with “1587 PRIME by Noble 33.” Videos revealed a grand staircase, expansive windows, and a large central area.
External scaffolding displayed the message: “From the visionaries at Noble 33 and Kansas City’s own hometown heroes, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce… 1587 Prime Steakhouse.”
Ahead of it’s grand opening this summer, 1587 Prime recently advertised positions for an executive chef, bar manager, and operations manager. The upscale dining experience will occupy a 10,000-square-foot space with private dining rooms, a chef’s kitchen, and a meat display, according to noble 33.
Kelce told People in April that the restaurant is “just another thing that we want to bring to Kansas City, to be able to show our appreciation for the city, knowing how much they love their food and how much they love their football.”
