Water party after Ashes defeat; Inquiry against England players

The England and Wales Cricket Board has announced an investigation into drunken England players after the tragic defeat of the Ashes series. An investigation has been announced against the players, including captain Joe Root. The hotel authorities in Hobart complained to the hotel authorities about the party and then went to the police. This was followed by the intervention of the Cricket Board.

Joe Root was joined at the party by senior pacer James Anderson, Australia’s Nathan Lyon, Travis Head and Alex Carey.
