Vizhinjam: Sajan (40), a resident of a rented house in Kitarakuzhi, Vizhinjam, has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife to death with a machete for refusing to sell her kidney. Police said he also beat up three children who had come to prevent the violence. This includes children with mental challenges. They sought treatment.
The case and arrest were registered on the complaint of his wife Suja in the incident that took place last day. According to the police, the accused was brought to Thrissur for sale to sell one of Suja’s kidneys and had a deal with an agent. Suja told police that she beat up 11-, 10- and 8-year-old children who came to stop her.
