XBOX Frenzy: The Top 40 Games Dominating the Charts This October
Xbox Gameplay Charts: Call of Duty Remains in First Place
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has maintained its top spot on the Xbox Gameplay Charts for the first time since its release. This comes as no surprise, given the game’s immense popularity and the recent release of its Xbox achievements in the form of DLC through the Call of Duty HQ app.
The rankings of the games in the top 10 remained largely unchanged this week, with only minor adjustments in the lower rankings. However, some notable changes did occur, with For Honor, MLB The Show 24, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition re-entering the chart.
On the other hand, MechWarrior 5: Clans experienced a significant drop in rankings, falling from 25th to 38th place. This decline is likely due to players shifting their attention to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It’s not uncommon for new Game Pass titles to experience a decline in popularity after their initial release.
Looking ahead, several major Game Pass titles are scheduled for release, including Microsoft Flight Sim 2024, Stalker 2, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Additionally, the highly-anticipated Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to release on October 31st. These new releases are expected to shake up the charts and bring about changes in the rankings.
The Xbox Gameplay Charts are compiled using gameplay data from over 2.4 million active Xbox accounts, providing a comprehensive look at the most popular games on the platform.
