Candidate Yoon said, “After opposition politicians and journalists, new circumstances are being revealed every day, from illegal inspections to civilians.
He also criticized, “I created an investigative agency targeting high-ranking public officials, but they are not doing what they are told to do, but are playing the role of a domestic part of the intelligence service during the authoritarian regime in the past.”
Then he asked, “Why did you check the communication data of the spokesperson for the opposition presidential candidate, who is not a member of the National Assembly and is not the subject of investigation by the Airborne Service? ” asserted.
He also criticized the current government, saying, “Why are there no words from President Moon Jae-in and the Democratic Party, who shouted so much about creating an airlift service?” and “Why are those who fiercely criticized intelligence agencies’ inquiry into communication data in the past so silent about the airlift service?”
The People’s Power said that so far, communication records have been searched for more than 60 members of the House of Representatives.
