The hurricane hit the east coast of Canada, causing unprecedented damage, such as cutting electricity to 500,000 homes.

Hurricane Fiona hit the Atlantic coast of eastern Canada on the 24th local time.
Fiona, which claimed the lives of at least eight people in the Caribbean earlier last week, was weakened by a tropical cyclone, then re-energized by a hurricane when it made landfall in Canada.

Around 5 pm local time on the 25th, ‘Super Typhoon’ Noroo made landfall on Polo Island, 60 km east of Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
With strong winds of up to 195 km/h, Roe is the most powerful typhoon to hit the Philippines this year.
Thousands of islanders were evacuated before landing, ships and planes were grounded, and schools and government offices were closed.
