Dow Jones, oil close higher/gold slightly positive

Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 482.54 points, oil prices up 85 cents, while gold rose $1.4.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 34,326.46, up 482.54, or +1.43%, the S&P 500 closed at 4,357.04, up 49.50, or +1.15%, and the Nasdaq closed at 14,566.70, up 118.12, or +0.82%
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed higher on Oct. 1, boosted by positive US economic data releases, progress in the fight against COVID-19. and the trend of passing legislation on infrastructure spending.
West Texas crude oil contract Intermedia or light sweets Delivery period Nov. It was up 85 cents, or 1.1%, at $75.88 a barrel. This is the highest closing level since October. 2018 and is up 2.6% this week. Brent crude oil contract (BRENT) for delivery in December. It was up 97 cents, or 1.2 percent, at $79.28 a barrel. and rose nearly 2.7% this week.
Crude oil prices were driven by the weakening of the dollar. While investors are still keeping an eye on the OPEC Plus oil production policy meeting on Monday, Oct. 4 and the market has adjusted to expectations that OPEC Plus will agree to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels per day for November.
Comex gold price for delivery in December Up $1.4 or 0.08% to close at $1,758.4/ounce. and rose 0.4% this week.
