According to 9to5Mac, Epic Games has officially released the free 3D scanning app “RealityScan” for iPhone and iPad.
“Reality Scan”Built using technology from Capturing Reality, a company specializing in photogrammetry solutions acquired by Epic Games in 2021.
With “RealityScan” anyone can create a 3D model in just a few minutes by following a few simple steps,The user shoots the object with the iPhone or iPad, and the application will convert the image into a 3D model through cloud processing.
3D objects created with “RealityScan” can be exported and uploaded to Sketchfab,It can be used for various purposes such as transforming it into an augmented reality object or adding it to your game using the Unreal Engine.
“RealityScan” is free and available from the App Store.
