Paris: Superstar Lionel Messi scored the first goal of the game in the French league after beating Nantes 3-1. Embappa also shook the net for PSG. Messi’s goal came in the 87th minute through a counter attack.
Messi accepted Mbabane’s pass and quickly dribbled past the defender and into the back of the net. Nantes goalkeeper Alban La Fontaine was the only spectator in front of Messi’s shot.
Messi has scored three goals in the Champions League since joining PSG from Barcelona. However, Messi was unable to score in the French league. PSG took the lead right from the start of the match. Embappa scored for PSG in the second minute. Nantes scored a consolation goal in the 76th minute. PSG goalkeeper Kyler Navas also received a red card in the match.
