‘Killing Romance’ is about one of the world’s leading stars ‘Yeo-rae’ (Lee Ha-nui) who fell in fatal love with the island conglomerate ‘Jonathan’ (Lee Sun-kyun) and suddenly announced his retirement, meets ‘Bum-woo’ (Gong Myung), a student from the 3rd fan club, and sets up an amazing comeback strategy.
Gong Myung’s visual, which highlights the youngest beauty, is a hot topic, not inferior to the power of Lee Ha-nui and Lee Sun-kyun. Gong Myung, who has been loved as a handsome actor, is currently in the army. After meeting the audience last summer with ‘Hansan: The Rise of the Dragon’, he will return this spring with ‘Killing Romance’.
Gong Myung, who builds trust with the audience by actively presenting works without a military background, took on the role of Bum Woo in ‘Killing Romance’. Beom-woo is an undergraduate student who prepares for the entrance exam in isolation because of his family tradition that insists on going to S University. In this way, Yeorae gains courage from the spirit of Beom-woo’s sincere fan to the extent that he knows all his works, and sets the goal of coming back on the screen.
Director Lee Won-seok revealed the moment he fell in love with him, “I first met Gong Myung at a movie premiere. His bright smile hasn’t left my mind for several days. He really fits the character Beom-woo, so I cast him without hesitation.”
