It has been reported that Google will release a Pixel tablet without a docking station.
Google released the Pixel tablet for $499 in June last year. This price includes the docking station. The Pixel tablet docking station charges and acts as a speaker. However, it was also highlighted that it was not a necessary accessory due to its lack of functionality.
The new Pixel tablet doesn’t have a docking option but is less expensive. The Pixel tablet without docking station is available in 128GB and 256GB versions, and the prices on the retailer’s website are 446 euros and 553 euros respectively.
It is much cheaper than the price of the dock version of 679 euros and 779 euros. It is unclear whether this is the final price and the final price may increase slightly if VAT is added.
Meanwhile, Google is reportedly preparing to release a Bluetooth stylus and keyboard for Pixel tablets.
