A two-and-a-half-year-old boy fell into a pond and died at Nadapuram, Kozhikode. Gian Sujith, son of Kallachi Government High School teacher Jisha Augustine, died on the spot. The boy, who has been missing since morning, was found in a pond near his house around 10 am. The locals rushed him to a private hospital in Kallachi and later to Vadakara Co-operative Hospital but he could not save his life.
