[마이데일리 = 김진성 기자] A match that can never be lost. Hyundai Mobis succeeded in winning the first two consecutive wins of the season.

Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Peevers beat Changwon LG Sakers 80-69 in the first round of the 2021-2022 KGC Ginseng Corporation Cheong Kwan Jang professional basketball game held at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan on the 30th. It was the first two wins of the season, 3 wins and 6 losses. LG is at the bottom with 2 wins and 6 losses.

Both teams were in total trouble at the beginning of the season. Still, LG showed signs of resolving Asem Marey’s dilemma little by little by strengthening the defense. On the other hand, Hyundai Mobis was notable for its lack of a focal point among domestic players, especially the severe ups and downs of Seong-Jin Seo and Woo-Suk Lee. The sluggishness of foreign players was also painful.

Both teams were roller coasters. Hyundai Mobis overturned expectations in the first quarter and overtook LG in the lead. Lee Woo-seok and Lee Hyun-min worked together on three 3-point shots, widening the gap by 14 points. However, as Lee Kwan-hee woke up in the second quarter, he poured 10 points, and the flow changed strangely.

However, Hyundai Mobis dominated the game in the fourth quarter. There was no outside shot, but Ham Ji-hoon scored an impactful goal one after another from the bottom of the goal. In LG, Asem Marey consistently made points under the goal, but Lee Jae-do and Lee Kwan-hee’s attacks were not good.

For Hyundai Mobis, Lee Woo-seok scored 15 points, Earl Clark 14 points, Choi Jin-soo 13 points, and Seo Seong-jin 10 points. Clark contributed 16 rebounds to the team. In a difficult environment, he made two consecutive wins and escaped from the worst trend. LG played Marray’s 16 points and 8 rebounds.
