Dora 1 Soya and 5 other rookie players start the 2nd army
On the 26th, Orix announced the grouping of the spring camp members. Newly recruited catcher Tomoya Mori, catcher Ryo Ishikawa, outfielder Daiki Watanabe, and new outfielder Leandro Cedeno are in Group A (1st Army). Infielder Soyuma and outfielder Yutaro Sugimoto started in Group B (second army).
Group A has 37 people. Ace pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, veteran pitcher Yoshihisa Hirano, left-handed pitcher Daiya Miyagi, and last season’s breakout pitcher Yuki Udagawa are included.
Group B has 39 members. Five new players, including outfielder T-Okada, outfielder Fukuda Shuhei, and Dora 1 left-handed pitcher Ryuhei Soya, also entered Group B.
Orix camp runs from February 1st to March 2nd. Groups A and B will be held at Kiyotake Universal Sports Park in Miyazaki City (A is SOKKEN Stadium, B is Kiyotake 2nd Baseball Stadium).
