Oscar Probable List: This time again the Indian film could not make it | USA News | NRI

LOS ANGELES ∙ When the 95th Oscar nominations were announced, it became clear this time too that the entry from India could not find a place among the five films for international feature films. ‘Chello Show’ in Gujarati language was India’s official entry. The list was released by Academy Award winner Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams, who starred in the recently released M3 Gun.

It is now impossible to say exactly how many films have seen the light of day through theatrical releases, OTT and official and unofficial channels. Prospects have no old limitation either. Maybe in the theatre. It can be via a pin drive or email attachment. It is unclear how the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences votes were submitted or returned. Finally the name of an inspection company is usually seen.

RRR’s Golden Globe Award-winning dance song ‘Nattu… Nattu…’ has been nominated for an Oscar for Music (Original Song). MM With music by Keeravani and lyrics by Chandra Bose, this dance song scene rivals the dance song scene from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the Golden Globes. There is hardly as much political correctness as at the Golden Global Oscars. Let’s wait and see what happens at the Oscars.

‘Chello Show’ (the last show) is the story of a boy growing up in a village in Gujarat who has an irresistible passion for moving pictures. The changes in filmmaking and appearance as he grows up are also flawlessly depicted. However, I felt the film would have dated a bit more in the 1980s.

India’s I&B Ministry is repeating the mistakes made 50 and 60 years ago while selecting films for Oscar competitions. The only exceptions to this are Salam Bobe or Lagan. We need to figure out which films the Academy will accept, how to promote them and bring them to the Academy, and spend lakhs to bring Indian entries to the Oscars.
