MacRumors, a foreign technology website, has reported that corrupted videos or other people’s photos are being displayed on the Windows version of Apple’s online service “iCloud” (iCloud for Windows).

As a storage service, iCloud allows you to upload photos and videos. The other day, the integration of “Windows 11” and “iCloud Photos” was realized. In addition, the design of the “iCloud.com” portal site has been completely renewed.

According to a report sent to MacRumors this time, this issue concerns “iPhone 13 Pro” and “iPhone 14 Pro”. For example, it seems that a video taken with an iPhone could not be played on iCloud for Windows because a black line was displayed.

Additionally, some users reported seeing other people’s family photos, soccer games, and other random photos while trying to play corrupted videos. Furthermore, it appears to be a server-side issue, and deleting the iCloud for Windows app did not fix the problem.

At the time of writing, no announcement has been made by Apple regarding this matter. I am concerned about the negative impact on privacy, so I would like to expect an early answer.
