Ultra Acosta! Cosplay Event: A Celebration of Creativity and Self-Expression
The cosplay event “Acosta!” Super expanded version of “Ultra Acosta!” was held, attracting a record number of cosplayers and photographers, 23,000 people.
We will introduce you to the beautiful cosplayers who participated in “Ultra Acosta!”, which will be held from Friday, September 6th to Sunday, September 8th, 2024.
The Event
On the first day, Friday, September 6th, the event was held all night from 10pm to 3am, with photo sessions and social interactions taking place in the normally closed Sunshine City late at night, and the Cosplay Dance Entertainment Festival “CDEF” was also held at the same time.
The event took place over two days, Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th, and took place in all of Sunshine City’s halls, Sunshine Plaza, and the adjacent Higashi-Ikebukuro Central Park. Cosplayers and photographers from all over the country participated in this largest-ever event.
On Saturday, September 7th, there will be a cosplay doujinshi sale event called “Acosta! Marche” was also held, with merchandise sales and photo sessions. Many fans came to support the cosplayers and enjoyed the event.
The venue was blessed with sunny weather. Collapse: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and other game characters, VTubers such as Hololive and Nijisanji, The Temptation of 2.5 Dimensions, The Doll Falls in Love, etc. Ultra Acosta! As the name suggests, there was a wide selection of cosplay costumes featuring popular characters from a variety of genres.
