Professor Abdur Rob Khan has been appointed Acting Vice-Chancellor of North South University. He was the treasurer of the university.

This information was announced in the press release sent by the university’s public relations office on Friday evening (August 30).

It is said that according to the decision of the board’s emergency meeting on August 28, the university’s board of trustees has appointed Professor Abdur Rob Khan as acting vice-chancellor.

It is known that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government on August 5 in the face of student unrest, the Vice Chancellor Professor Atiqul Islam has been absent from work since the afternoon of August 6. The board of trustees also said that he had dismissed from office.
