Fuel Price Update: Diesel and Kerosene Prices Reduced by 50 Paise per Litre
The government has announced a reduction in the prices of diesel and kerosene by 50 paise per litre, effective from midnight today, Thursday.
A notice published by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources on Thursday, October 31, confirmed the adjustment in fuel oil prices.
The new prices indicate a decrease of 50 paise per litre for both diesel and kerosene, bringing the price of diesel to 105 paise per litre and kerosene to 105 paise per litre.
However, the prices of octane and petrol remain unchanged at Tk 125 and Tk 121 per litre, respectively.
The price of fuel oil is determined every month based on the fluctuations in the global market. In accordance with the pricing formula, the price of fuel oil has been adjusted to ensure a relatively affordable supply for the month of November.
