Fuel Price ⁢Update:‌ Diesel and Kerosene Prices Reduced by ​50 Paise per Litre

The government has announced a reduction in ‌the prices‍ of diesel and kerosene by 50 paise ⁢per litre, ⁢effective from midnight today, Thursday.

A notice published by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources on⁢ Thursday, October 31,‍ confirmed the adjustment in fuel oil prices.

The‍ new prices ‌indicate a decrease‍ of 50 ⁣paise per litre for both diesel and kerosene, bringing the price of⁢ diesel to 105 paise per litre and kerosene to 105 paise per litre.

However,​ the prices of ‌octane and petrol‍ remain unchanged at Tk 125 and Tk 121 per litre, respectively.

The price of fuel oil is determined every month based ⁤on the fluctuations in the global market. In accordance with ⁣the pricing formula, the price of fuel oil has been adjusted to ensure a relatively affordable supply for the month of‍ November.
