Kurukan: A Remarkable Comeback for Srinivasan
Srinivasan, despite his ailing health, defied all odds to attend the premiere of his son’s latest film ‘Nadiilla Sundari Yamuna’ at the theater. Accompanied by his wife and friends, he bravely ventured into the cinema halfway through in a wheelchair, eventually finding his seat by holding his wife’s hand. Srinivasan’s aides revealed that his breathing difficulties made it challenging for him to express his emotions after the screening.
‘Kurukan’ marks Srinivasan’s highly anticipated return to the big screen after a prolonged hospital stay. Additionally, the film showcases his exceptional acting skills as he shares the screen with Vineeth Srinivasan, portraying an intriguing character.
Star-Studded Cast of ‘Nadiilla Sundari Yamuna’
Joining Dhyan in key roles for ‘Nadiilla Sundari Yamuna’ are the talented Aju Varghese and an ensemble of actors including Sudheesh, Nirmal Palazhi, Kalabhavan Shajon, Nawaz Vallikun, Anish, Parvana, Amy, Unniraja, Bhanupayyannoor, Devaraj Kozhikode, Rajesh Azhikotan, Sohan Sinulal, Sarath Lal, Kiran Ramesh, and Vismaya Sasikumar.
Written and directed by promising newcomers Vijesh Panathur and Unni Vellora, the highly awaited film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 15.
Srinivasan came to the theater to watch his son’s film despite his poor health. Srinivasan had come to watch the first show of the film ‘Nadiilla Sundari Yamuna’ starring Dhyan Srinivasan. And there was his wife and his friends. He came halfway into the theater in a wheelchair and later entered the theater holding his wife’s hand. His aides told the media that he had some breathing problems and therefore it would be difficult for him to react after watching the film.
‘Kurukan’ was Srinivasan’s comeback film after being in the hospital. He also appeared as an interesting character opposite Vineeth Srinivasan.
Along with Dhyan, Aju Varghese is playing the lead roles in the film Nadiilil Sundari Yamuna. The film will hit the theaters on September 15. The film is written and directed by newcomers Vijesh Panathur and Unni Vellora.
