Khabarni – The case of the imprisonment of Egyptian actress Wafaa Makki on charges of torturing two maids was hardly absent from the television interviews in which her Mu’tazila compatriot Mayar El-Beblawi appeared, as she confirmed in a new statement that Makki is not innocent of the charges against her.

During her hosting of the “The Oracle” program, presented by the journalist Basma Wahba, Al-Beblawi denied concealing Haq’s testimony to save Makki from a 10-year prison sentence in the case of abusing her two maids and torturing them to the point of burning and burning with fire, in the incident that dates back to 2001.

Wafaa had stated in a statement last year that Al-Beblawi had hidden throughout these years evidence of her innocence of committing any crime against the two maids, considering that their father was the culprit.

Wafaa Makki is guilty

After Mayar, the presenter of the program, promised to answer truthfully, she stated that her relationship in the case was no more than the fact that one of them brought the two maids to her to work for her, to help her take care of her new child, but she was suspicious of their appearance.

Mayar explained that when she asked about the maid’s strange situation, she was informed that actress Wafaa Makki had shaved her hair due to a skin disease, so she – Mayar – immediately rejected them, and continued, “So where is the evidence of Wafaa Makki’s innocence?”

Here, Basma Wahba commented that these words are evidence of Makki’s innocence in the case of violence, burning, and beatings, but Al-Beblawi responded to her by saying that Makki is guilty and that the judiciary and forensic medicine ruled that she committed the crime.

She pointed out that Wafaa Makki used to burn and shave her maid’s hair in the case that was raised 23 years ago, pointing out that “forensic medicine proved that the maid did not suffer from any skin disease, and therefore her hair was shaved and her hair was burned.”

Secret threatening messages

While she denied that she had previously announced that she possessed evidence that acquitted Makki of what was attributed to her, she revealed that the threatening letters that she had spoken about in previous meetings regarding the need to conceal the testimony were sent to her by her husband to stay away from the case and take care of their child.

She concluded the paragraph by insisting that Wafaa Makki is not innocent by saying, “This woman is not innocent, and she has nothing to do with innocence,” and confirmed that she has a clear conscience.
