Teenager Killed in Stabbing Incident Over Ludu Match in⁣ Comilla City

A <a href="https://www.newsdirectory3.com/police-arrested-a-15-year-old-boy-for-killing-a-12-year-old-student-with-a-hammer-on-the-head-of-a-townhouse-in-cha-am/” title=”Police arrested a 15-year-old boy for killing a 12-year-old student with a hammer on the head of a townhouse in Cha-am.”>tragic incident occurred in Comilla city on Friday night (September 27), resulting in ‍the stabbing death of a 17-year-old teenager, Mahi Alam ⁤Maruf, over a dispute related to a‍ Ludu match.

According to Officer-in-Charge of South Comilla Sadar Model Police Station, Muhammad Rafiqul Islam, the incident took place⁢ in the Noagaon area of the city. The accused, Tuhin (17), was arrested by an angry mob and handed over to the police.

Mahi Alam ⁢Maruf, the son ⁤of Babul Mia from Shaktala area in Comilla city, was playing Ludu with several teenagers near Noagaon Mainamati railway station in the afternoon. An argument broke out between Mahi and Tuhin, resulting in Tuhin stabbing Mahi in the stomach. Mahi was taken to a private hospital in Comilla and later⁤ to Comilla‌ Medical ⁢College Hospital, ‌where he was ‌declared dead.

The relatives of the deceased and local people ⁤protested by blocking the Comilla-Chandpur road with Mahi’s body, demanding the swift arrest and punishment of those involved in the murder. ⁣Additional police and RAB have been deployed to keep ⁤the situation under control.

While the ⁣real reason behind Mahi’s murder is not yet known, there⁢ is believed to be a ‍previous dispute between the two sides. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
