Protest by BNP-Jamaat panthi lawyers in the Supreme Court

Supreme Court lawyers of BNP, Jamaat and others have boycotted the court for the third day demanding restoration of democracy and rule of law and stop injustice in the name of justice.

On Wednesday (January 3) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, hundreds of lawyers are staging a court boycott program in front of the Supreme Court Bar Association with an hour break. They distributed boycott leaflets among lawyers and raised various anti-government slogans.

Zainul Abedin, former president of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association, who participated in the court boycott program, said, “We want the rule of law and the judiciary to perform their duties impartially.” We are not against the court. But we want to remind everyone through this movement that the court is for the people.

Former Attorney General and Nationalist Lawyers Forum President AJ Mohammad Ali, BNP Legal Secretary and Nationalist Lawyers Forum Secretary General Barrister Qaiser Kamal, Supreme Court Bar Ad Hoc Committee Convenor Mohsin Rashid, Supreme Court Bar Former Secretary Ghiyas Uddin Ahmed, Barrister Mahbub Uddin also participated in the program. Khokon, Barrister Badruddoza Badal, former secretary of the Supreme Court Bar, Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal, President of Lawyers Forum Supreme Court Unit Abdul Jabbar Bhuiyan, General Secretary Gazi Kamrul Islam Sajal and hundreds of lawyers.
