Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order today issued a press release announcing the remastering of the urban development sim masterpiece “Cities: Skylines” for PS5 / Xbox Series X | S “Cities: Skylines – Remastered”. It has been revealed that the overseas release is scheduled for February 15, 2023.
“Cities: Skylines – Remastered” includes an increase in the number of buildable city tiles (from 9 in the previous generation to 25), UX improvements including quick selection tools, precise location and distance display, snap options, includes a new environment control panel, map editor and extensive graphics improvements and costs $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. A free upgrade will be offered to existing PS4/Xbox One version and DLC buyers. (The remastered DLC at the time of release will be extended to the “Airports” expansion, and further remastered DLC versions will be provided in the coming months.
