Young ​Electrician Dies from ⁣Electrocution in Dhaka

A​ tragic incident ​occurred in Dakshin Bansree of Khilgaon, ​Dhaka, ⁣resulting⁤ in the death ‌of 34-year-old Mahbub ⁤Hossain ⁤due to electrocution.

The incident took​ place ⁢on Saturday, October 26, ⁣around midday. Mahbub was ⁤rescued unconscious and rushed to the ⁤emergency department of Dhaka Medical ‍College Hospital, where he⁣ was pronounced dead by the doctor on duty at around ‌7 pm.

According ‌to⁤ Rakib Hossain, Mahbub’s brother,⁣ the deceased worked in the‍ field of electricity. While performing electrical work on ⁣the ninth floor of a building in Dakshina Banashree Kazi⁢ Bari area, Mahbub‌ fell due to electrocution. He was​ initially taken to​ Mugda Medical College Hospital and later transferred⁣ to ⁢Dhaka Medical when his condition deteriorated.

Mahbub Hossain was⁢ the⁤ son of Rafiqul Hossain from Burichong Thana Kembejehura village, Comilla. He⁣ resided in a rented house​ in the Banashree area.

Inspector Md. Farooq, ‌Incharge of Dhaka Medical College ‌Hospital Police Camp,⁢ confirmed the death and stated that⁤ the body has been ‍kept⁤ in the hospital’s emergency department morgue. The​ matter has been reported​ to ‌the concerned police station.
