RAB has arrested four persons in the case of sabotage related to obstruction of police work and attack with intent to kill.
They are, Shah Alam Golap (45), Md. Shamchul Islam (46), Mohammad Rahatul Islam and Jinnatul Islam Majumder (44).
On Thursday (November 23), they were arrested in Demra, Kotyali, Bangshal and Lalbagh areas of the capital.
RAB-10 Assistant Director (Ops) Aminul Islam informed this information on Friday (November 24) morning.
He said that on Thursday night, a team of RAB-10 conducted several operations in Demra, Kotyali, Bangshal and Lalbagh areas of the capital. At that time, four accused were arrested.
According to the preliminary investigation, the accused have admitted their involvement in sabotage plans at various times. Also, they were directly involved in various types of sabotage activities including car vandalism, burning of buses in Demra, Kotyali, Bangshal and Lalbagh areas. The accused have been handed over to the concerned police station.
